We take personal privacy protection very seriously. A number of amendments have been made to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance 2012 (Ordinance) of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD), which will be implemented on May 1, 2017. The Association has ensured that the requirements set out in the regulations are accurate and correct and that your personal information is properly stored.
1. Purpose of data collection and usage guidelines
a. The agency will use the data for the purposes stated at the time of collection.
b. The provision of personal data to this institution is voluntary. It is because, we may not be able to process your relevant application or provide relevant services due to insufficient information.
c. This organization may use your personal information (including your name, phone number, fax, email, whatsapp account, wechat account, email address and other contact data) in order to send out receipts, messages, subpoenas, and Hong Kong youth or For non-Hong Kong youth exchanges, promotion, purchase of vehicles/boats/airplanes/high-speed rail services, activities, or to collect opinions.
d. You can request our association to stop using your personal data for the above-mentioned purposes at any time, free of charge.
2. Check and update personal data and apply to stop using personal data for promotional purposes
In addition to the exemptions provided by the “Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance”, you have the right to request access to, change and stop using your personal data for the above-mentioned purposes with respect to the personal data kept by this institution, but you have reached Personal data deleted after the purpose of use is excluded. The above request should be made in writing or email.
